Vincent Ball (born 4 December 1923, Wee Waa, New South Wales) is an versatile character actor. After leaving his job with the Australian General Electric Company he served as a pilot with the Australian Air Force in England, before entering amateur dramatics and repertory. After working as a stoker on a cargo ship for The Rank Organisation, he was given a role as a fill-in in The Blue Lagoon. Joining RADA, he worked in the UK for several years before returning to his native Australia in the 1970s, where he has been a staple of mini-series, Australian cinema and television.
